CDN is in final stages of completing College of Information Technology, Al Ain University

The College of Information Technology serves IT students by offering comprehensive, high quality, cost effective learning and workforce development opportunities to enable them to become more productive, responsible and effective in assuming their roles as IT leaders of the future. The College aims at creating students to be leaders in software engineering and computer science. The College seeks to provide highly-motivated students to become tomorrow's socially responsible and competent leaders through a learn-by-doing, information-technology oriented education.

CDN is providing State-of-the-Art Network for over 2,000 users consisting of Foundry Networks Core Switches, each providing over 3 Terabits of throughput, and a large number of Edge switches, with some providing as much as 1.28 Terabits. In addition, CDN is supplying a complete Foundry Network Wireless Solution with integrated security, management, mobility and roaming capability. Finally, a complete Network Management solution is also fully integrated.

CIT Network is one of the fastest in the entire Middle East, and supports advanced networking technologies such as MPLS, IPV6, thousands of VLANs, and many other features that will allow CIT to achieve all it's goals and protect it's investment over the years to come.

Majority of the Network has been in operation since late August, and the balance is pending completion of cabling works in parts of the new building.
