Senior Novell Certified Engineer – (Netware 6.x and GroupWise 6.x)

DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Day to day administration
(maintenance/upgrade) of Novell Netware 6.5, GroupWise 6.5 mail system
with 3000 plus users, NetWare Cluster, GWIA, GW WebAccess, Windows
Servers and all associated hardware/software
-
Design, implement, test and maintain
Backup System for NetWare, GroupWise, Windows Servers, Disaster Recovery
Procedures
-
Evaluate current server/network
procedures/documentation and redefine/redesign as necessary
-
Support users with misc email issues and
client configuration issues, Analyze reported problems efficiently and
provide solutions
-
Hardware and Software design, implement,
test, maintain IBM X series servers , FastT600 HA SAN Storage Servers ,
HSA , SAN Switches , Fibre mesh , SAN Data Gateway Router , APC Rack
mount UPS Systems etc
-
Perform other special projects as assigned
by the Management
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelors degree in Electronics
Engineering / Computer Science
-
Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE)
-
Experience with Novell Netware 6.5 and
Windows 2000/2003 Servers in a WAN environment using TCP/IP
-
Min 5 years experience in
Networking/System Administration
-
Must be experienced in administering
GroupWise 6.x, ZenWorks
-
Able to work well in stressful situations
and solve problems in a timely and efficient manner
-
Must be dependable, reliable, show
initiative and integrity
-
Position will be required to by on call,
Require access to a vehicle
